Secure Codes shall replace One-Time Passwords (OTPs) being sent via SMS, to authenticate your online credit card and debit card transactions. The Secure Codes shall be delivered under Notifications, on your Mbank UAE App, for all Retail Customers.

What this means for you?

  • You will no longer receive OTPs via SMS for card transactions
  • Secure Code delivered instantly under Notifications on Mbank UAE App
  • Stronger security against SMS fraud or interception

What you need to do?

To ensure uninterrupted access to Secure Code enable notifications in your mobile’s settings for the Mbank UAE App.

How Secure Code works for Mbank UAE App users?

  1. Make your online purchase by using your Mbank Debit or Credit Card as you normally do
  2. You will now receive the Secure Code on your Mbank UAE App
  3. Login to Mbank UAE App, tap on Notifications to view your Secure Code, & complete your transaction as you normally do
