Dispute filing process and requirements:

  • Promptly inform us of any unfamiliar or unauthorized transactions on your card by calling us immediately on 600 57 1111.
  • Complete the dispute form with accurate information; you can download the dispute form by Clicking here.
  • Ensure the dispute form is submitted within 60 days of the unauthorized transaction.
  • The resolution period for disputes varies from 45 to 180 days, depending on the nature of the dispute.
  • Send the duly filled in and signed dispute form to Dispute@mbankuae.com.
  • Please be aware that if an investigation reveals the cardholder’s involvement in the transaction, such as sharing card information and OTP or using secure platforms like
  • Apple/Samsung/Google Pay, the likelihood of fund recovery is minimal and subsequently there could be a dispute handling fee should it be a genuine transaction.

  • Ensure transactions occur via 3D secure at merchants/websites when using your card.
  • Immediately report any unrecognized or unauthorized transactions on your card.
  • Use secure internet browsers that indicate safety through ‘https://’ at the beginning of the web address and display a closed-padlock symbol.
  • Avoid responding to unsolicited emails requesting personal account information, even if they seem legitimate.
  • Refrain from sharing card details via email.
  • Keep your card within sight during transactions for goods/services.
